I love to play! (But not the trombone)

Here Frosty zooms toward the camera! She loves to play and be affectionate. Recently we learned that she is not so keen with the playing of the trombone (even when played by a skilled professional trombonist). It is still to be seen whether or not she likes other brass or musical instruments.
Recently Frosty has received lots of compliments on her smooth coat (and manicured toenails). Good work, Frosty!

Frosty's skin & coat continue to improve. She is looking so much better & well on her way to having a beautiful, shiny black appearance. She continues to be one of the sweetest things on four feet. This is one special hound.

A Masterpiece in Progress

Frosty is a masterpiece in progress. She's one of the sweetest hounds that you'll ever meet. She has adjusted (albeit slowly) to life at the kennel. But she will flourish when she's in a home of her own.

Frosty is like a handful of sculptor's clay. She has so much potential just waiting for the right, caring and patient person to come along and help sculptor her into the masterpiece we all know she is at which time she'll blossom and shine in her forever home.

Extreme Makeover: Hound Edition

The diet at the track is good for muscle tone but seems to lack something many Greyhounds need for their coats. Some of these hounds come in with flaky skin & thin, patchy looking coats. Though the condition is temporary, it certainly detracts from an otherwise wonderful hound's aesthetic appeal. For the black hounds, this is even more obvious plus many start out as more black faded to brown. As the dogs system adjusts to their "pet" diet & get regular grooming their skin & coat improve rapidly, especially if you add Omega 3 fish oil caps. The transformation is always impressive. This happens time & time again as the hounds move from kennel to foster care to their forever homes.

Scuba originally came in with his skin & coat looking similar to Frosty's. These two pics show how gorgeous he is now. Like Frosty, all he needed was a little TLC. It isn't hard at all. Good diet & a little brushing is all it takes.

Scuba's transformation happened while in foster care. He was recently adopted. His new family got him post-makeover.

This same transformation will happen with Frosty. Few things are more satisfying than being the one to make this happen. You can do this for Frosty. Frosty is a wonderful, wonderful girl. She adores attention and is a real sweetheart. She is going to be the light of someone's life.

BTW-who names a black dog Frosty's Snowy? Silly name for such a Greyt hound.

Butterfly To Be

Frosty is going to bloom into a beautiful girl as soon as her coat cleans up. She may not look perfect right now but she will be gorgeous soon. Not to mention she is a happy, girl who just loves life. Her attitude is so enthusiastic and good natured. She will be a wonderful addition to someone's family. Eda
